TREES AVAILABLE

City residents and business can request a tree to be planted in the space between the curb and sidewalk. Request must be made by April 15 by using this form:  https://forms.gle/LwYMrjLPYDSrAaqv7 

Planting area must be at least 4'x4', not within 10' of street signs or hydrants or 15' from an intersection. Property owners must agree to help care for the tree.

Spring Cleanup Has Begun

Spring Cleanup of yard debris will be from April 8th to May 7th. As always, clear bags or biodegradable paper bags must be used- no colored bags or cardboard boxes. Brush must be tied with string; branches and no longer than 6' or 3" inches in diameter. DOG PARK PUBLIC HEARING

There will be a Public Hearing to hear public comment on the creation of a Dog Park in Greenway Park on River St. on February 5, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at One Court Plaza.

Leaf Pickup Extended

The City DPW is extending leaf pickup to December 31st. Please place leaves in clear bags between the curb and sidewalk for pickup. Please keep in mind to ensure bags are not buried by snow if mother nature strikes before they are picked up.

FALL CLEANUP IS HERE!

City-wide curbside pickup of yard debris is underway and will continue to December 1st. Please remember the following: Brush/branches no longer than 6' long or 3" in diameter; CLEAR plastic or biodegradable paper bags only; 1 person should be able to lift to shoulder height; only leaves, grass and twigs/brush/branches; place debris between the curb and sidewalk.

CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED!

Credit Cards are now accepted by the City of Norwich!! The Finance Office has been working diligently to make credit cards an acceptable form of payment for a while and now it's here. Please be aware that there will be a convenience fee of 2.95% charged to your card. You may also pay your water bill online. Look for the link ONLINE PAYMENTS on the Finance page of our website.
